The clatter of lunchboxes and the hurried goodbyes of school mornings were a familiar symphony in our home. But Sadbh’s lunchbox held a secret message – a tiny love note tucked beside her sandwich, a whimsical message from her Mom. “You are amazing, you can do anything!” or “You are a bright and shining star!” Little did I know that these simple words would spark a creative adventure.
One afternoon, Sadbh, eyes sparkling with mischief, announced, “My friends want love notes too, Mom!” A mother’s heart swelled, not just with love for my child, but with an idea. This wasn’t just about lunchbox notes; it was about empowering children, reminding them of their inner strength and beauty.
The seed of “Chakrangers” was sown. We envisioned a vibrant team of characters, each representing a chakra, radiating positivity and self-love. As a graphic designer, my mind buzzed with possibilities. But this was a shared dream, a mother-daughter duo embarking on a creative quest.
With over 20 years of experience collaborating with Premier Stationery, I knew just who to call. “I have an idea…” I exclaimed. “…get ready for something exciting!” They were instantly on board, their enthusiasm fuelling our own.
Two years of joyful brainstorming, late-night design sessions, and countless cups of tea later, the Chakrangers were ready to burst into the world. Affirmation cards whispered empowering messages, stickers became badges of self-love, and each character embodied the vibrant energy of the chakras.
Teamwork, indeed, made this dream work. A mother’s love, a daughter’s spark, and the collaborative spirit of trusted partners brought the Chakrangers to life. We poured our hearts into this project, hoping these cheerful champions would inspire children everywhere to embrace their inner strength and shine their brightest light.
